Hey y'all! I took a much needed break from the blog.... It wasn't planned, but with this cold weather snap (that the farm was NOT prepared for), things were pretty hectic the last week... We have been winterizing everything - and nothing froze, so I think we did OK! It got down to 19 degrees, so yay for success! The animals stayed as warm as they could with fresh soft hay in their little hut homes & coop. The wood stove has been fired up every single day and has kept the house toasty... Now I am back on track!! Sorry for the hiatus!! Happy Thursday!!! Back on track for a new 'Want/ Need' post....

This is absolutely waaaaaaaaaay out of my budget, but a girl can dream, right? I am in LOVE! Maybe I will try to make something similar this Winter when we get snowed in and I can't go to work (fingers crossed) ;) For all you non-frugal types, you can go HERE to spend $300 on this beauty. Send me a pic of you in it and help feed my appetite to make my own!

read:
This book. You can purchase it through Amazon for under $8 HERE. I am reading it now, for the first time.
“The way to maintain one's connection to the wild is to ask yourself what it is that you want. This is the sorting of the seed from the dirt. One of the most important discriminations we can make in this matter is the difference between things that beckon to us and things that call from our souls.
Nowhere can this be seen more clearly than in the choice of mates and lovers. A lover cannot be chosen a la smorgasbord. A lover has to be chosen from soul-craving. To choose just because something mouthwatering stands before you will never satisfy the hunger of the soul-self. And that is what the intuition is for; it is the direct messenger of the soul.”
― Clarissa Pinkola Estés
