Well, today was another beautiful day at the farm - and a very productive day as well! The morning started with running around with the babies - Milly, Misty, & Ellen. The temperature was in the high 50s, the sky was blue with a few clouds and it was warming up fast. Baby was doing her signature "running with sticks" thing...
Milly is enjoying wearing the t-shirts as opposed to being wrapped. She has more freedom and it is less constricting around her belly.
The chickens are laying more now, and so I decided to clean out the nesting boxes in order to get ready for better production...Eli had decided he wanted to play in the cedar shavings, so while I was cleaning the nesting boxes of the old shavings, he had used his horns to open the new bag of shavings and had strewn them out so that he could roll around in/on them for a bit. He is a silly boy for sure. I was able to get enough cedar for the boxes, and just let him have fun with the rest of the bag.
Ha ha ha! You can't be mad at THIS face, can ya?? I'm just having fuuuunnnnnnn......
I started getting the raised beds ready for Spring by raking off the pinestraw and pulling out the weeds and grass...
Ellie was enjoying the beautiful day running around with Eli....
