I have been craving a burger. Like something fierce! Well, I haven't been able to find any buns that are GF and soft and tasty, but I love the Udi's GF white sandwich bread......so, I decided to make patty melts and Cajun fries!
What you will need:
Udi's GF bread
Grass-fed ground beef
Cheese of your choice (I already had sharp white cheddar at home, so that's what I used)
Bacon
butter
Frozen fries
Cajun seasoning
salt
pepper
Worcestershire sauce
Mix salt, pepper, and Worcestershire into your beef and form into patties....
Cook in a skillet to your likeness - I cook my meat well, so these were cooked well done....
While I was cooking the burgers on the stovetop, I had the bacon and the fries in the oven.....
I cooked some Trader Joe's frozen fries and sprinkled Cajun seasoning on when they came out of the oven.....
Melt some butter in another skillet/ pan and throw in a slice of bread......
...then top that bread with some cheese....
then slap on one of the patties......
top with another slice of bread, and flip the sandwich.
Smash the patty melt ......
...and then add mayo, mustard, and/or ketchup....oh, and the BACON!!
