Saturday I woke up excited to play with my new lens that I got Friday at the estate sale, but it was raining on and off all day... boo. Didn't stop me from playing with it a little though.... I really like it! Can't wait to play with it on a sunny day!!
later we had some company over for lunch on the porch....
Later, I decided to take a detox bath made of ginger, dry mustard, baking soda, and epsom salts because I felt like having a spa day and there was till some time left before I needed to leave for the farm...
First, let me just say that my goal was to soak for 30 minutes, but i was not ready for the amount of sweating that this bath had me doing.... I made it 25 minutes before I had to get out! Next time I am gonna hydrate big time before taking this bath, but I did feel amazing when I got out and my skin looked dewy and healthily flushed...
These are some of the vintage dresses I got last weekend. I am looking for a teensy weensy skinny gal to model. These dresses were even too small for Clarissa (my mannequin)... They are long enough for me, but the waist is 24 inches. This lady was long and lean for sure!
Sunday was a sweet unexpected surprise visit from an old friend! I love you, Shannon!! You did brighten my day!
We had a few of these while she was here... read all about the Sunday Sweet Stuff HERE.
Then it was time to go to the other goat farm where I get my milk.... You know what Springtime brings on a dairy farm..... BABIES!!!! She has Nubians and Lamanchas, so they either have really long ears or really tiny ones! BTW, all of the following photos of the goats and farm and little doxie were taken using a Canon SX130, but I just ordered the newer version for $105 on Amazon Prime.

My most used camera at the farm by far! It has taken several beatings, rain, and still produces some of the best images! And the absolute best camera for 'felfies' - ha! Just see for yourself:
wahhhhhh - la- la -la....

Nothing quite like a sunny day in the field to hang with the goats......
I love Eli's smiling face in this one!
After all the farm stuff, it was hang time with my girlfrannnnnds and some food and wine! One of my friend's son plays music and is part of this youth music project called 'Camp Amped' and at the end of every camp session, they perform a show out....
