I was able to salvage two apples from my apple trees out back before the birds pecked the heck out of them.... I decided to make my very first GF galette. Adapted from THIS old recipe from the blog, I substituted the All Purpose flour with the Cup 4 Cup gluten free flour....
1 Cup GF flour + 1 stick grated COLD butter.....and then just enough milk to make it all stick together...
I could not find my rolling pin, so I pressed this crust all with just my fingertips! Viola!
....sliced my two apples and tossed them into the crust...
...sprinkled with cinnamon, butter, and sugar....
Pop in a preheated oven at 375 for 30 minutes......
...and BOOM!!
