I rarely get sick, but I am guessing that the last weekend at the Fall Market I was heading up, I messed around and picked up a bug....
As I type, Eddie Bear is pushed as tight as he can be, against me, snuggled and snoring away. I remember three years ago around this time, I was certain that the Christmas of 2015 would probably be the only one he'd see. He is still kicking, and isn't doing any worse than he was back then. I am hopeful to have at least a few more Christmases with him.....
With that being said, this year I am super excited to possibly start a new tradition. You see, Christian and I have always gone to my grandma's house for Thanksgiving - mom's family - and Taylor and our dad would have Thanksgiving at his house. This year, Christian and I are happy to have Thanksgiving at our house with Taylor! I'll go see my sweet grandma early that morning, while Christian prepares the feast!
I took Eddie for a few long walks around the farm today, we took our time, and checked out the pretty fall colors.....
I started feeling much better around lunchtime today and enjoyed most of the day curled up with a good book (thanks to my friend Beth for this book recommendation!) under the electric blanket, with Eddie, and Spirulina enjoying my company unlike a normal weekday.
night, y'all......
